A financially strong and safe non-profit foundation that supports positive interaction between the Tualatin Police Department and the community it serves.
Community Support for Public Safety
Building Connections
Through our TUCPF programs and the various ways we connect with the community, the TUCPF's mission is to use private funds to support public safety programs, which enhance the relationship between the Tualatin Police Department, the City of Tualatin, and the Tualatin community they protect and serve.
Community Events
Strategic Partnership
Events build community. In 2016, our "Breakfast with the Chief" raised funds for officer safety equipment, Shop with a Cop, and k-9 Med Kit. In 2017, we plan Lunch with the Chief. Like other foundations, we use fundraisers and other communication forums to bring in special speakers, acknowledge achievements, and raise money for scholarship, equipment, or other needs.

Police Officer Equipment
Special Equipment Purchases
Community policing needs more equipment, high tech enhancements, and supplies greater than normal taxpayer allocations. For example, in 2015 we raised funds for ballistic shields for body armour. In 2017, the department needs heat sensing technology.
